| Christopher
Ihlefeld began his professional singing career
as a boy soprano at age eleven with the Orlando
Opera Company in the role of Shem in Benjamin
Brittan's Noah's Flood. He received his undergraduate
degree in vocal performance from Rollins College
in 1995. While in Santa Fe he has sung with the
Desert Chorale, Santa Fe Pro Musica (including
the recent performance of Hayden's Creation),
Canticum Novum, Sangre de Cristo Chorale, Cara
Musica, Theatrework and New Mexico Pro Coro. Christopher
is serving his eleventh year as cantor and bass
section leader at Holy Faith Episcopal Church.
When Christopher is not singing, you'll find him
managing municipal bond portfolios at Thornburg
Investment Management Company. |
