Helen is a Colorado native, graduating from Colorado State University with both a BS and MS degrees in Chemistry, Radiation Biology and Voice Performance.  While there, she participated in many University musical productions, concentrating her voice study in Opera. She also performed with the Denver Symphony Orchestra.  Following her husband around, she has lived and sung in various cities in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.

Helen is presently employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Research Library as an Information Specialist and Project Manager. She and her husband live in White Rock and are proud parents of three children who reside in New Mexico and California.

Any free time is spent in pursuit of gardening, cooking and reading Science Fiction and Mystery novels.
