Cox is a freelance music arranger/engraver for Hal
Leonard Corporation, for which he works
on projects like the soundtracks from “Walk
The Line” and “Curious George.” Other
recent publications include print arrangements
for Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney.
Since moving to Los Alamos, New Mexico in ’91,
Joe also has had 50+ sacred anthems published,
with Abingdon Press, MorningStar Music,
Lorenz Corp., Augsburg Press, G.I.A., Bourne Company
and Choristers Guild. This summer his
Rite I settings of the Kyrie, Sanctus and Agnus
Dei will be used at the General Convention of the Episcopal
