Kirste debuted her solo voice at the age of 10 with a rousing version of "You Are my Sunshine," to the Stults Road Elementary PTA in Dallas, Texas. This rendition involved more than one note. (Apologies to Pat Fasel's dad!) Although she sang in various choirs throughout her younger years, Kirste only recently rediscovered her love of singing in her early thirties when she started studying voice with Catherine Robinson with both great seriousness and amusement.

When not busy raising four beautiful children with her devoted partner, Scott, Kirste works as a Financial Advisor in downtown Santa Fe.
