Pat
started her musical life as an instrumentalist
thanks to a program in the Ohio public school system
which identified students and gave them free violin
lessons. This was a blessing because she
came from a distinctively unmusical family although
her mom likes to play the radio and her dad can
sing "You Are My Sunshine" using only
one note. She played piano, violin and recorder
and never sang in a choir until college but she
hasn't stopped singing since. With an empty
nest (finally) she is able to sing in the church
choir, Coro de Cámara, the Santa Fe Symphony
Chorus and the Sangre de Cristo Chorale. She
works on duets for church and sings and plays medieval
and Renaissance music.
